  1. Heat Taco shells in 170° oven for 4 - 5 mins; keep an eye on them as they burn easily. If your oven racks are reasonably clean, hang the taco shells straight on the oven racks to heat; this minimizes breakage and buckling.
  2. Serve hot Mexican Beans with crisp taco shells, grated cheese and a variety of sliced and diced green chilies, shredded lettuce, cabbage, tomatoes, grated carrot, cucumber, gherkins, roasted red capsicum, jalapenos, sour cream and/or salsa.
