Weather

How’s the weather in Katoomba today?

“If you don’t like the weather in Katoomba, come back in ten minutes”

The weather in the Blue Mountains is nothing if not changeable, so if you’re visiting, it’s worth remembering to dress in layers and always bring a hat and a jacket; we’ve been known to have snow in November (that’s almost summer here if you’re not up on Australian seasons) and bushfires in August (winter).

Another phrase that resonates with me is “There’s no such thing as crappy weather, only crappy clothing choices” (paraphrased with credit to my old work buddy, Christopher Woods)
